Access to Justice & Self Help Center

Jun 1, 2021 | Dementia & Memory

The Access To Justice Center offers an Ask-A-Lawyer clinic staffed by local volunteer lawyers. The clinics provide an opportunity for people, regardless of income eligibility, to consult with lawyers on a variety of topics including family law, landlord-tenant, general civil law, probate and bankruptcy/collection matters. Clinics are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

The Self-Help Center can provide assistance to self-represented individuals including locating and accessing forms, checking your case status, assisting you with filling out forms, providing general information about court procedures.

The Larimer County Access to Justice Committee has compiled a Modest Means Attorney List of attorneys willing to take cases at reduced rates for clients who earn too much to qualify for pro bono legal services, but do not make enough money to pay customary rates.
