VOA volunteers provide a weekly break (respite) for family caregivers caring for an older loved one at home, while providing a social connection for the participant.
Volunteers do not provide any hands-on care, transportation, etc. Our VOA Caring Companion volunteers provide a listening ear and a safe, friendly social visit making a meaningful difference to local families.
